Rihanna’s Oprah Interview Scores Major Ratings / Beats Lady GaGa Figures

While she certainly has no new album to promote, its obvious folk certainly pay attention when the subject pertains to Rihanna‘s private life and more so when chris brown is in the picture.
For, in what comes as excellent news for both she and the esteemed folk over at Oprah‘s OWN, it has emerged that her interview with the mogul pulled in record breaking ratings on Sunday night.


With just under 2.5 million viewers tuned in, Rihanna‘s interview surpassed ratings afforded to Oprah’s interview with The Kardashians (1.1 Million) and serial chart topper Lady GaGa who enjoyed viewing figures of 700k during her  philanthropic special.
However, Rihanna did not succeed in besting Winfrey’s special with ‘The Houston’ clan who raked in an audience 3.5 million following the death of their beloved relative Whitney who passed away in February of this year.
OWN has been battling with ratings and Oprah is doing everything to save the troubled network, Rumour has it that she is in talk to get both Beyonce and Britney as guest in the nearest future.
