From Usain Bolt To Blessing Okagbare, 2012 Olympics

Usain Bolt this night won the 100m men's final, setting an Olympic record time of 9.63. Usain is actually the first sprinter to defend the 100m title on the track. Carl Lewis won in 1984 but got the 1988 gold after Ben Johnson was stripped of his title. He's officially a legend.
And in other news, our very own Blessing Okagbare who actually was Nigeria's last hope for a medal in this olympics came last in the womens 100m finals and left Nigerians in shock as we watched our last hope go down the drain.
‘’We’re yet to come to terms with what happened to her. She had cramps and could not move’’, AFN Scribe, Maria Wophill offered in disbelief.

Truly, too, Blessing could not offer words to Journalists at the Mixed zone where the world Press lined out with their recorders and cameras. ‘’Sorry, I can’t stand. I am cramping’’, Blessing said and zoomed off to get medical attention.

‘’Something must be wrong. That is not the Blessing we know. Poor girl’’, an American Journalist said as Nigerians mourn.
