Nigerian Senate Halts Sanusi's Proposed N5,000 Bill

It seems the senate are finally doing something in that place they meet to discuss the affairs of the nation, because yesterday they issued a letter to the Central Bank of Nigeria asking them to stop plans of introducing the proposed N5,000 note with immediate effect.

At a press conference which held in Abuja yesterday the senate said that CBN had no right to embark on a matter that has 'far reaching implication on Nigeria and Nigerians' without first consulting the Senate and other stakeholders, adding that “until this is done the CBN must stop action.

The 7th edition of The Future Awards tagged “Tear Down the Walls” took place yesterday Sunday 26th August in the Nation’s oil rich city of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Usher Raymond Won Custody ButTameka Is Still Willing To Fight On

Its no longer news that singer Usher Raymond won the custody battle against ex wife Tameka Raymond on Friday, Tameka pissed over her recent loss in court and believes the ruling could be the result of a biased judge ... so she's gearing up to file an appeal.

Tameka lost a hard-fought custody battle on Friday when a judge ruled in Usher's favor and granted primary custody of their two young children to the singer. From her tweet above its obvious Tameka felt the judgement was unfair and influenced by Usher's money.

So Rihanna was reportedly seen hanging out with Rob over the weekend, Riri went go-Kart Riding with Rob Kardashian and Mariel Haenn at the Racers Edge track in Burbank, California on Saturday and then they were later seen hanging out at a night club. Chuck Norris Not Coming Back For Expendibles 3?

So Did you see the expendables yet? its a must watch, honestly one of the best action movie of the year with a line up of action stars dating back to when we were all kids, One person I was so excited to see was Chuck Norris and was pretty stoked at him returning for the third installment but at the premiere for The Expendables 2, Chuck Norris told Access Hollywood that he won't be returning for The Expendables 3, which producer Avi Lerner is already planning.

Lerner recently said that they had approached Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford and Nicolas Cage about playing characters in the third film and that they would also ask Wesley Snipes when he comes out of prison next July.

Dang!! Like seriously who does that? Kanye posted that pic on twitter and deleted it instantly, buh when you have legions of twitter followers its best to not tweet things you'd want to delete.

Prince Harry has just returned to the motherland, and he's got some serious explaining to do to one pissed off Queen.
Yes the Queen is her angry and why won't she? when her grandson is frolicking with strippers and acting like one also.
Harry flew from Los Angeles to England last night, hours after pics of the prince buck naked during a strip billiards party in Vegas leaked online.
Passengers on the flight says Harry did not mingle on board ... he stayed in the upstairs cabin of the 747.
Its not so certain what the situation is like currently at Buckingham Palace but its quite obvious what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there especially when you are Royalty.

Prince Harry Displays Royal Butt In Las Vegas

Seems like Prince Harry had quite the party in his VIP suite this weekend and we're pretty sure it's the talk of Buckingham Palace.

According to TMZ, it all started on Friday night when Harry and his buddies went to the hotel bar and invited some ladies back up to his room. Once there, the party escalated into a game of strip billiards that left the royal with his family jewels on display.

TMZ has obtained photos of the prince, buck naked. In one photo, Harry is full nude, cupping his goods while it appears a naked woman stands behind him, hiding. In another photo, the prince appears to be bear-hugging a woman who is just as naked as the day is long.

Pippa must be breathing a sigh of relief that she is no longer the sibling who has the media buzzing about her antics.

As Hollyscoop previously reported, Harry spent the weekend in Las Vegas, enjoying the sights, the clubs and the women that Sin City has to offer. He and his entourage made a visit to MGM Grand’s Wet Republic on Saturday.

The prince and his small group of friends were fitted with a VIP bungalow. He wore red floral board shorts, sunglasses, and a brimmed hat. To blend in, the royal stud went shirtless, which – oddly – seemed to work.

He also challenged Olympian Ryan Lochte to a race in the pool, which to no one's surprise, Lochte won.

Even though there are no reports of Prince Harry hitting the tables, it's pretty clear he lost his pants. And there's photographic proof.

When contacted by TMZ, a spokesperson for the Royal Family said, "We have no comment to make on the photos at this time."

Even though he's not next in line for the thrown, we suspect he's going to get spanking fit for a king.

102 Underage Prostitutes Arrested in Jos: Why Won’t God Be Angry with Plateau?

The Police in Plateau State have arrested 102 underage girls believed to be prostitutes in Jos. The state’s Commissioner of Police Mr Emmanuel Ayeni, made this clear to reporters on Monday during the command’s monthly news conference in Jos. He said that the arrest followed a security tip-off that made security men to raiding the hotels.
According to him, “The girls are aged between 12 and 16 years and they were arrested dancing naked at Pleasure Inn at Shendam Street and Mandela Hotel at Rwang Pam Street… The suspects were interrogated and, on request, handed over to the Plateau State Ministry of Social Development for rehabilitation,’’ he said.
The commissioner also said that officers and men of the command had carried out extensive raids on criminal hideouts in Jos and Bukuru, where 109 suspects were rounded up and arrested: “In the last one month, a total of 13 cars and 11 motorcycles were recovered at different locations and some of them have been released to the owners… Property valued at N11 million were also recovered,’’ he added.
This development is coming against the background of a statement linked to the state governor wherein he was quoted to have said that God is angry with the people of the state and that is why so much evil has been befalling the state recently. One wonders how people are still able to perpetrate these heinous acts despite the civil unrest in the state.

Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen Join Scary Movie 5

Previously rumored as being in talks, Lindsay Lohan has now signed for Dimension Films' Scary Movie 5, according to E!. The site says that Charlie Sheen will also be back for the fifth installment.

While it's unknown which character Lohan may play, she will star opposite Ashley Tisdale ("High School Musical") in the April 19, 2013 release. Sheen previously played Tom Logan in Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4.

Director Malcolm Lee is teaming up and working side by side with director David Zucker (the "Airplane" and "The Naked Gun" franchises) on the new film. Zucker wrote and directed the third and fourth films and is also co-writing and producing Scary Movie 5.

The "Scary Movie" franchise, which lampoons the greatest in horror and genre fare, has grossed over $800 million worldwide.

The Dark Knight Rises Tops Box Office Third Straight Weekend

The E360Naija Box Office Report has been updated with studio estimates for the weekend and the final figures based on actual box office.

Two new movies entered the marketplace in wide release and two more movies fell far behind the biggest movie of the late summer as Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises (Warner Bros.) remained on top for the third weekend in a row with roughly $36 million. Despite a big 60% drop in its second weekend, it held out better in its third weekend, being down just 41%, and so far it's grossed $354 million domestically, making it the third-highest grossing movie of the year. $5.7 million of this weekend was made in IMAX theaters bringing its domestic IMAX total to $48 million. We're still waiting for international numbers on The Dark Knight Rises, although we've heard that globally, the movie has done $70 million in IMAX theaters.

Rihanna’s latest fragrance has become the fastest-selling celebrity perfume in the UK. “Rebelle” has sold over 2 million bottles since its February launch and is expected to sell a record-breaking 4 million by the end of the year.

“My new fragrance is about taking control but still being a lady. There’s a feminine, romantic element to the fragrance – but there’s also a defiant quality in it. I love its duality,” Rihanna said at its launch.

“Rebelle” is the second perfume released by Rihanna following last year’s “Reb’l Fleur”.

Rihanna will release “Nude“, her third fragrance, in November.
