Rihanna buys brand new $12million Pacific Palisades mansion

Earlier this year she purchased a brand new five bedroom home in Barbados, and gave it to her mother Monica Braithwaite.
Now, Rihanna has added to her property portfolio by buying a $12million Pacific Palisades mansion in Los Angeles, California.
The newly constructed home is around 11,000 sq ft and sits on approximately 33,541 sq ft of lot.
Although the property is huge it only has seven bedrooms, but it also includes nine bathrooms and a media and games room to hang out in.
For the culinary wizard in Rihanna there is also an expansive cutting edge kitchen and an extra large dining room with a 14 foot ceiling to serve up her meals.
Now she has a super wide zero edge swimming pool to host shindigs at that come equipped with a poolside BBQ and bar.
Her amazing backyard, which is approximately 6000 sq ft, also has an additional bbq and fire pit on the sun deck and a jacuzzi.

Scientists uncover possible source of Homosexuality

Scientists say they may have discovered the source of homosexuality.
The answer may lie in epigenetics, or how the expression of genes is controlled by “temporary switches” known as epi-marks, researchers from the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis explained in a study released Tuesday.
Sex-specific epi-marks are usually “erased” from generation to generation.
But when they do not disappear, they can be passed from father to daughter or mother to son, resulting in homosexuality in children, scientists suspect.

Judge says rape was victim's fault, body can prevent RAPE!

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — A Southern California judge is being publicly admonished for saying a rape victim "didn't put up a fight" during her assault and that if someone doesn't want sexual intercourse, the body "will not permit that to happen."

The California Commission on Judicial Performance voted 10-0 to impose a public admonishment Thursday, saying Superior Court Judge Derek Johnson's comments were inappropriate and a breach of judicial ethics.
"In the commission's view, the judge's remarks reflected outdated, biased and insensitive views about sexual assault victims who do not 'put up a fight.' Such comments cannot help but diminish public confidence and trust in the impartiality of the judiciary," wrote Lawrence J. Simi, the commission's chairman.

L.A Reid Announces Departure From 'X Factor USA'

Another day another trouble for the 'X Factor USA' because once again the show will see its judges panel  re-jigged next year as L.A Reid annouces he will not be returning for another year season.

In an exclusive statement to Access Hollywood, the industry veteran cites slight neglect of his CEO duties at Epic Records as the main catalyst for his decision:

“I have decided that I will not return to ‘The X Factor’ next year. I have to go back and I have a company to run that I’ve kind of neglected and it saddens me a little bit, but only a little bit.

It was a nice break, it was a nice departure from what I’ve done for the past 20 years, but now I gotta go back to work. I have a huge responsibility to a roster of artists and it’s kind of time for me to stop doing the ‘me’ show.

I’m not ruling ever coming back, but I’m definitely not coming back next year. I have a job to do and once I get some work done and get some momentum then maybe I’ll revisit the idea a little later.”

Of his relationship with fellow judge and the show’s creator Simon Cowell moving forward, he added:

Madonna Immortalized In London

World famous Madame Tussauds London today revealed a brand new wax figure inspired by the Madonna's iconic "Vogue" number of the MDNA Tour.
The new figure is joined for three weeks only by two more new wax incarnations of the Queen of Pop in the "Candy Shop" outfit from the Sticky & Sweet Tour and the 1984 MTv "Like a Virgin" style.
These two figures will then head to Japan where they will take up residence at the new Madame Tussauds Tokyo in March next year.

"This is a first time we have ever launched three different figures of one performer here at Madame Tussauds London, so it’s a very special event," PR Manager, Nicole Fenner said.
"We are very lucky to be able to bring together these three extremely striking portrayals of one of the most influential and iconic contemporary music artists of all time and we know fans are going to relish the opportunity to meet not one but three Madonnas.
But our two Japanese bound figures will be with us only until Thursday January 3, so those who want to see her in triplicate should make plans to do so now!"

The survey conducted by askmen.com set out to find out the celeb lady that ordinary men fancy the most and it was Jen who came out on top.

Adele Fined By UK Government!

Adele is in trouble with the UK police because she didn’t register her baby with the government. That sounded so much like the plot for a bad post-apocalypto sci-fi flick. Let me explain.
Apparently Adele had 42 days after the birth of her son to register his birth. I think they are referring to “applying for a birth certificate” but I’m loving how this report makes it sound like she purchased a car and forgot to get register it at the DMV. It's a baby, not a thing!
So now Adele is facing a £1,000 fine ($1,606 USD) for escaping from the hospital with her little one. By the way, we have no idea what her son’s name is still.
According to the UK government’s website, “all births must be registered within 42 days of the child being born” and filed with other information like date of birth, parents names, sex, address, and parent’s jobs.
Also, what does Adele put as her “job?” Multi-platinum recording artist and the envy of the recording industry? Yes, write that down.
A source told The Sun, “Cops are hardly going to be banging on their door tomorrow and it’s probably just an oversight on their part.”
Adele probably just forgot, hopefully there won’t be any baby-snatching happening in her near future.

It has been reported that the Crazy In Love singer surprised her husband with a €4m diamond encrusted Hublot Big Bang watch – the most expensive wrist watch on the planet. Ever.

The diamond watch, which has a whopping 1,282 diamonds covering its face and wristband, sparkles from every conceivable angle thanks to 140 carats of diamonds set in white gold.

And the company, which is owned by French luxury giant LVMH, stated that it took 17 people 14 months to design and make the one-of-a kind time piece.

Jay Z may have 99 problems but a gift certainly ain’t one, as his wife Beyonce is known for her generous and extravagant presents.

Earlier this year, the Halo singer spent €385,000 on a sapphire pinky ring for her hubby, which was intended to show Beyonce's appreciation of Jay Z's support throughout her pregnancy.

The deep blue ring also commemorated the birth of their daughter Blue Ivy.

Last year she bought the rap star a €1.8m Bugatti car for his birthday.

A source close to the couple said: “Beyonce will always get Jay the best gifts money can buy. She knew he would love the Hublot Big Bang watch. It's the ultimate time piece.”

Victoria Beckham snubs her fellow Spice Girls at the premiere for musical Viva Forever

Mel B, Geri, Emma and Mel C posed happily as a foursome at the premiere, while Victoria was nowhere to be seen.

 

 

When we went to the launch of Viva Forever in London back in the summer, it was pretty clear that Victoria Beckham wasn't as 'into it' as the other girls - saying around three words during the presentation and dashing off via helicopter as soon as the conference was finished.
And it looks like she's sending a similar message from tonight's premiere of the West End musical, refusing to turn up to the posh event with her fellow bandmates and posing alone on the red carpet.
Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Mel B and Emma Bunton were all snapped arriving at the premiere arm in arm, grinning as they left their dressing up session at the The Corinthia Hotel and strutted onto the red carpet as a foursome.
Victoria was nowhere to be seen as the girls joked around for the cameras, dressed to the nines in their best frocks.

Upcoming Singer Brutally Stabbed by Landlords Son

Upcoming artiste Tiwa Banks popularly known for her single  'Olenle' was severally stabbed by her landlord's son. Her landlord's son named Tobi Obadina went to Tiwa's apartment at night to settle a little a little misunderstanding they had earlier, and apparently things took a wrong turn because in the course of settling the misunderstanding, Tobi broke a bottle and stabbed her severally leaving her for dead.

While the nature of their relationship is not known nor the cause of their misunderstanding, it is known that this is not the first time Tobi have done this, he has previously attacked other people in the area and he continue's to boast that he is untouchable because his father is an ex-officer.
Tiwa is currently receiving treatment and is getting better.
