Doctor Bello Premiere Photos + My Review Of The Movie

So Doctor Bello premiered yesterday at the Genesis Deluxe cinema's Lekki, and below are some pictures from the premiere and also my brief review of the movie, won't be giving too much details till I see it again.

Evidently not your everyday premiere as the regular red carpet stalking Nollywood stars are not present but rather, this premiere takes you like a time capsule back in time to the mid 90's, and you could see veterans of the industry here to support their very own.

As for the movie,I can't say it's an excellent movie, though i wish it were since I'm a huge fan of Genevieve Nnaji and Vivica Fox, but there's hardly any flaw free Nollywood movie.

The first half of the movie was rushed and the story was just moving too fast, the editing and sound was also very poor, you'd have to strain to hear the dialogue, and as usual the back ground track was always louder than the voices. I feel Miss Fox's Talent was wasted in this movie.
The nurse and the cancer patients mother are the worst actors I have seen in a while, wrong facial expressions, its so obvious they really don't know what faces to make. Bad casting.

The movie really picked up for good when they moved over to Nigeria and that's when you start enjoying it, though the end is rather unexpected, it had its own short-coming and worst of all, my list favourite scene in the movie was when Doctor Durand got to the mountain top, the editing was horrible, it felt like we travelled several years back to Living In Bondage Nollywood.
As usual Genevieve was pretty good, Stephanie was her usual self and did what she knows best acting.
Had some pretty good laughs here and there, the director turns out to be better at acting that directing IMO.

In all Doctor Bello is an average movie, better than most Nollywood movies, especially the ones shot overseas.
